ABOUT:
Each​ ​batch​ ​of​ ​olive​ ​wood​ ​is​ ​completely​ ​different​ ​than​ ​the​ ​last.​ ​These​ ​boards​ ​are​ ​as​ ​natural​ ​and​ ​unique​ ​as​ ​the​ ​trees​ ​they​ ​come​ ​from.​ ​The​ ​wood​ ​is​ ​upwards​ ​to​ ​75​ ​years​ ​old.​ ​

Due​ ​to​ ​the​ ​nature​ ​of​ ​being​ ​natural​ ​wood​ ​and​ ​handmade,​ ​these​ ​boards​ ​do​ ​not​ ​always​ ​lie​ ​completely​ ​flat.​ ​

Please​ ​note​ ​the​ ​pictures​ ​are​ ​just​ ​an​ ​example​ ​of​ ​the​ ​board​ ​you​ ​will​ ​receive.​ ​The​ ​wood​ ​striations​ ​in​ ​olive​ ​wood​ ​
vary​ ​from​ ​board​ ​to​ ​board.​ ​No​ ​two​ ​boards​ ​are​ ​the​ ​same​ ​in​ ​shape,​ ​size​ ​or​ ​color.​ ​Not​ ​all​ ​have​ ​a​ ​bark​ ​edge.​ ​Not​ ​all​ ​have​ ​curves.
Some​ ​are​ ​darker​ ​in​ ​grain​ ​then​ ​those​ ​shown​ ​in​ ​listing​ ​photos.​ ​Some​ ​are​ ​wider​ ​than​ ​shown,​ ​some​ ​are​ ​more​ ​narrow.​ ​

SIZES:​ ​
Widths​ ​vary​ ​due​ ​to​ ​where​ ​on​ ​the​ ​trunk​ ​the​ ​board​ ​was​ ​cut.​ ​Most​ ​are​ ​slightly​ ​longer​ ​than​ ​measurements​ ​stated.​ ​The​ ​thickness​ ​also​ ​varies​ ​from​ ​board​ ​to​ ​board.​ ​

These​ ​olive​ ​wood​ ​products​ ​are​ ​ethically​ ​produced,​ ​made​ ​from​ ​the​ ​wood​ ​of​ ​trees​ ​which​ ​no​ ​longer​ ​produce​ ​fruit.​ ​New​ ​trees​ ​are​ ​continually​ ​being​ ​planted​ ​to​ ​replace​ ​those​ ​used​ ​to​ ​make​ ​these​ ​products.​ ​



Maintenance:​ ​
Wipe​ ​down​ ​with​ ​cutting​ ​board​ ​oil​ ​or​ ​mineral​ ​oil​ ​every​ ​​ ​1​ ​to​ ​3​ ​months.
Please​ ​DO​ ​NOT​ ​put​ ​in​ ​dishwasher.​ ​Hand​ ​wash​ ​only.
Please​ ​DO​ ​NOT​ ​leave​ ​soaking​ ​in​ ​water​ ​or​ ​exposed​ ​to​ ​heat​ ​or​ ​sunshine.​ ​
Please​ ​DO​ ​NOT​ ​cut​ ​on​ ​engraved​ ​side​ ​of​ ​board.​ ​Safe​ ​for​ ​food​ ​contact,​ ​this​ ​is​ ​the​ ​display​ ​side​ ​of​ ​the​ ​board.
